benefits of exercise

What are the general benefits of exercise?

A healthy mind always resides in a healthy body. Mahatma Gandhi has written in his autobiography that wherever he lived, whether he was in the country or abroad, he used to go for morning and evening walks. The human body is a kind of machine made of muscles. If it is not used properly, then there is a loss of vitality. By spending time in idleness, the muscles relax, and the nerves of the stomach become sluggish. As a result, constipation etc. disorders arise in the core of health.



 Health begins to decline rapidly. To attain this power and to remove the slackness, some exercise is necessary. Exercise is essential to get fit. Just as diet is needed for survival and strength-balance, in the same way, exercising regularly is also necessary for health protection. By exercising, the contaminated stool disorders of the body are relaxed and come out in the form of sweat.

 In Charaka Samhita, it is written while highlighting the need of exercise: - By doing exercise, the strength of the body remains stable and strength increases. Exercising makes the body healthy and prolongs the life of a person. The very ancient tradition of exercise still holds its pride in the world of our practice of punishment meeting, exercise, wrestling, dumbbell-mugdar etc. Exercising brings vitality to the body and increases the power to fight diseases. 



This statement of Mr. Lord Dervo is literally true, "If you can't make time for exercise, you will have to make time for illness." By doing exercise, the disorders caused by the foreign elements present in the body are destroyed. Exercise completes the double process of health promotion. The first is the development of the body parts and the second one gets firmness in the organs. Unnecessary elements get removed from the body. Both these rules are equally necessary for health protection. Exercise strengthens the foundation of health, keeps it lasting. Exercising makes the body healthy, light, beautiful, strong and shapely. Exercise develops mental powers.

 A person who does regular exercise never gets sick. Exercise generates movement in the tendons and nerves. Exercise strengthens the chest and lungs by intensifying the breathing activity. Exercising increases the heart rate. Due to which the circulation of blood starts happening faster. Due to this the liver and kidneys become agile. Proper exercise according to the condition is necessary for everyone. Children, old people, teenagers and young people all appear lethargic due to lack of exercise. Exercise is a kind of natural effort. After a few days of birth, the child continues to complete his regular exercise by moving hands, feet, running around, turning over, running etc. By exercising, the digestive system becomes good and strong and the food eaten gets digested properly. Eating after 3 or 4 hours of exercise does not bother any complaints related to malaise and indigestion.

With more exercise, more strength and protein and fatty substances are taken, then the health becomes even stronger. Due to exercise, the old and weak 'koshas' break down and come out in the form of stool. Along with this some nutrients are also spent due to which fatigue arises in the body. This fatigue is removed with nutritious substances and this tiredness is also removed by massage. Adequate rest and sleep are also needed to overcome the exhaustion caused by exercise. Play is the best exercise for kids and student class. 

Sports like wrestling, kabaddi, ball, football, hockey, etc. fulfill the need of exercise and also get mental happiness, so sports is the best exercise. Exercises done at home include running of hands and feet, jumping, jumping, grinding mill, pounding paddy etc. Exercises are also beneficial from physical and professional point of view. Walking is also a great type of exercise. 

It also gives physical and mental strength. Walking is considered the best exercise for stomach related complaints. Older people and those who work in offices throughout the day must walk in clean and green places, both from the point of view of entertainment and health. Swimming in a river or pond is also a kind of beautiful exercise. In swimming, there is tension in the lungs, chest and limbs and the speed of blood flow is rapid and there is energy in the body. 

Whatever means you use for exercise, it should be used in daily life. According to the condition and physical condition of our country, now again there is a need for renewal of exercise. Whatever the means, it should be its goal to get strength, agility, action power and physical efficiency. Every human being should make a regular routine and try to mold his life accordingly.
