The remaining 31 matches of the IPL will be played in the UAE from September 15 to October 15

In view of the growing threat posed by Corona, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to hold the remaining 31 matches of the IPL abroad.  The BCCI is now planning to host matches in the UAE to avoid a loss of crores of rupees.  That is why the remaining 31 matches of the IPL are likely to be played in the UAE from September 15 to October 15.  Sources said that full preparations have been made for this.  However, the BCCI has not yet given any official confirmation in this regard.  The BCCI will meet on May 29.  The official announcement of the IPL is likely to be made during the same meeting.  Discussions are underway to reduce the 9-day gap between India and England in the second and third Tests.  The five-match Test series between India and hosts England starts on August 4.  The series will run till September 14.  There is a gap of 9 days between the second and third Tests.  Therefore, the BCCI is looking to reduce this gap
